About The role:

To assist in the delivery and implementation of a range of network and security projects. A hands-on role focusing on the delivery of projects in line with client strategies and technology roadmaps. You will be required to work across multiple client sites and varied technologies. Consult with our Pre-Sales Consultant, Engineers and Clients throughout project implementation and post-delivery phase

• Networking – ADSL, Fibre Network turn ups and troubleshooting, LAN Cabling, VLAN's

• Time management skills, can work to deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Positive and collaborative team ethic
• Can do attitude
• Professional integrity and respect for rules, regulations and policies
• Proven delivery of high quality Project Proposals, AsBuilts and Handover documentation   
• Experience working with vendor portals & ability to translate service/licensing pricing for new opportunities
• 80/20 split of Project vs. BAU and R&D work
• Ability to provide Pre-Sales support and Consulting – Client facing

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in MSP environment
• Prior consulting experience (external and internal parties)
• Palo Alto & WatchGuard projects deployment experience
• Cisco Meraki, HP Aruba & Ruckus WAP deployment experience
• In-depth knowledge of Firewall, load balances, QOS and/or VPN technologies
• Anti-Virus product deployment, policy configuration and administration
• (Preferred) Experience with co-ordination of penetration tests, audits and compliance attainment (legislations and accreditations)
• (Preferred) Familiarity with Cyber Security products around Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Web Application Scanning & Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Project Management skills/experience shall be looked upon favorably

Education Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification and Industry certification– IT, Engineering Degree
• Palo Alto PCNSE and CCNA certified
• Other certification: ITIL or Agile Certification, CCNP,  CCIE, MCSE, VCP (preferred)
