Media Sales Executive (Inside Sales)

Job Description

  • 5 years of new business development experience

Our client is a global leader in enterprise space. Our client have around 300+ media partners all around the world helping local business and people understand how to get the best and most cost effective results from all media be it a traditional or new.

What will you do?

  • Manage New Business Development process including pipeline generation, prospect qualification, and closing of sales
  • Traditional and social media solution selling
  • Maintain and develop relationships with key business decision-makers within SMEs with a view to provide them with a media advertising solution
  • Manage account profiling process which includes understanding prospects’ buying process, communicating the Media Partners’ value proposition and selling the product to the prospect
  • Proactive outbound calling efforts, successfully build and progress pipeline all the way through to closing the sale, within timeline of approximately 8 weeks
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual KPIs and sales metrics
  • Manage the day-to-day back office Inside Sales process
  • Accurate use of CRM systems and Sales Pipeline including all Prospect information
  • Proactively follow up leads
  • Negotiate contracts for closure of the sale
  • Manage effective selling and presentation techniques to influence the prospect
  • Travel to meet with prospects with a view of closing face to face

Skill / Experience Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales experience (with min 3 years inside sales)
  • Experience with longer sales completion cycles of 2 to 3 months essentially
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong account management skills
  • Strong business acumen with proven B2B experience mostly on small businesses
  • Excellent  track record of success in outbound calling and New Business Sales
  • Ability to work with numbers to perform various types of calculations in order to effect basic commercial transactions and forecast accurately
  • Computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM systems
  • A university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) preferred but not essential if equivalent related experience can be demonstrated
  • Consultative and solution based selling skills and experience
