Our client is a MSP provided located in the heart of Melbourne CBD. The business is an established name with the niche regulated clients such as clients in Healthcare, Pharma, Financial Services, Legal etc
Role:
The relates to all technology, including workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. The position also entails monitoring of our customer’s infrastructure, with maintenance performed as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and implement cloud infrastructure and migrated customer infrastructure
- Support and Maintain client environment and users
- Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
- Technical support at the network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Remote access solution implementation and support: VPN and Terminal Services.
- Attend escalations from the remote monitoring and management system alerts and respond accordingly through service tickets.
- System documentation maintenance and review in ConnectWise.
- Preparation of new equipment for customer deployments.
- Improve customer service, perception, and satisfaction.
- Fast turnaround of customer requests.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of IT cloud server, Office365, network, desktop, firewalls, etc.
- Experience in Windows & Exchange Server, Active Directory, Office 365
- Ability to manage a server using system management interface.
- Experience in current Microsoft desktop operating systems.
- Good experience with virtualisation and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Understanding of networking technologies.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills in ICT, including servers, desktops, printers and networks.
- Experience with ConnectWise and LabTech.
- Experience with Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) tools and Professional Services Automation (PSA) tools.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a helpdesk role.
- Strong organisational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Superior written, verbal and documentation skills (must be fluent in English) and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone.

What will you do?
- Have a sound technical knowledge of server, storage, Backup, Security, Cloud & Network infrastructure.
- Act as the final point of escalation for the Managed Services environment
- Responding to and resolving phone and email escalations in a professional, timely manner with an emphasis on high quality customer service
- REsponsible for regular daily tasks including Backup and DR scheduling and management
- Deployment of PCs using SOE technology including desktop refresh & rollouts
- Undertaking Problem Management to investigate the root causes of incidents for the Proactive prevention of problems
Technical Skills & Capability Required:
1. Troubleshooting and administering:
- Ability to resolve and restore broken AD, servers, cloud or network
- End user troubleshooting, Directory Sync/Azure AD, User Account Management
- Conduct client site visits if the issues can not be resolved remotely
2. Server infrastructure including:
- Active Directory, DNS, Windows Servers (various generations), DHCP, Microsoft Exchange & Office365, server monitoring & patching
3. Cloud & Virtualisation:
- Ability to build & support MS Azure cloud infrastructure
- Expert in building and maintaining VMware & HyperV infrastructure and toubleshooting issues
- Ability to do root cause analysis & resolve any issues (including new set up / migration) unless client site visit is required
4. Networking Troubleshooting:
- Strong knowledge & understanding of IP Troubleshooting, Subnetting, Core understanding of routing, Connectivity issues, Firewall related issues, bridging port acess
- Ability to configure and resolve multi-tenanted infrastructure, subnetting network
- Ability to configure or implement new requirements in routing & switching
- Ability to configure on-premise & cloud firewalls especially Palo Alto, Meraki, CISCO
5. Back up & Disaster Ricovery:
- Experience in scheduling and troubleshooting backups
- Strong understanding of DR & ability to implement DR & Backup solutions for the clients
- Conduct DR & restoration for the client environments
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as System Engineer, Senior System Engineer or IT Administrator
- Tertiary qualifications in an IT or related discipline
- Few technical certifications – ITIL, MCSA (Window Server 2008 or 2012), MCSA (Office 365), MCSE, CCNA, MCP
- Preferably experience in Managed Service Environment

About the role
You will acting as the highest escalation point for the company’s latest SaaS version of the software. You will identifying, documenting and resolving defects in the large-scale platform.
Must haves for the role:

Role and Responsibilities:
You will work alongside our project manager and Business Analyst as well as liaising with various departments such as Infrastructure / DevOps within the business where necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the product team to understand updates and new features to the product in order to communicate these to customers
- Provide quality 3rd level support to customers who are utilising company’s SaaS product
- Respond to requests and incidents following defined processes including escalation procedures
- Identify, investigate, prioritise and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Proactive identification of areas of opportunity for improvement
- Utilise effective delegation and/or escalation to effectively manage the resolution of incidents within contracted service level timeframes / targets
- Assist broader Clinical support team in all aspects of Incident and Problem management
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our customers to foster collaboration and facilitate growth
- Develop processes which support client engagement, improvement, and support
- Resolve issues as much as possible but at the same time insure issues are documented, raised and escalated to relevant development team and managers
- Support, log, categorise, and track incidents reported by customers
- Work collaboratively with development and product team to ensure timely responses and resolutions to customer enquiries, and maintain ownership of incidents until resolved
- Maintain processes, procedures and documentation in a way that supports and improves service provision delivered by the help desk
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Proven SaaS, complex platform support experience
- Managing or supporting managed/application services
- Local ANZ Health Industry knowledge/expertise shall be highly regarded
- Strong technical background with experience in a SaaS based environment preferable
- At least 4+ years’ experience in Application support
- Strong SQL and data manipulation experience
- Ability to explain business and technical requirements to all members of a team
- Broad understanding and knowledge of testing and quality assurance
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to understand complex problems and explain them clearly
- .NET and C# development / programming / application support experience shall be highly regarded
