Key Responsibility & Must haves:
The role is to ensure supply requirements by sourcing and maintaining supplier relationships and managing cost effectively. By working within agreed established processes and by providing the sales team with support across the quotation and procurement process.
The position also involves the following:
Follow up of purchase orders to achieve delivery requirements
Prepare and maintain purchasing records reports and pricelists
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs and delivery requirements
Process purchase requisitions for inventory and non-inventory items per internal approved requirements and/or customers’ approved requirements
Assist with setup of new vendors and maintained preferred suppliers list
Reconcile or resolve invoice value discrepancies
Provide ongoing analysis of spend to minimise leakage and identify opportunity to implement additional cost saving initiatives
Maintain their external customers’ asset listing in Connectwise for services they provide to customers
Verify technical accuracy and completeness of all proposed Scope of Work, Quotations, Tender responses and their proposals prior to issu
Key Accountabilities
Accurate quotes and costings (10% contingency)
Vendor Management (Maximum 15% assigned time)
Ordering placement and tracking (Within 1 business day of request)
On time quotations (Within 2 business days of request)
Manage to margin
End to End ownership
Key Skills
Intermediate Microsoft office skills
Strong communication skills written and verbal
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload
Excellent Stakeholder management
Maintain co-operative working relationships with colleagues and management
Proven negotiating skills
Ability to run complex Excel Sheets for pricing and Build Of Materials creation
Requirement
Tertiary qualification in information technology or business management
Minimum 3 years procurement experience, preferable in the IT industry
Experience working with multiple Vendors and distributors
Experience using Telstra portal and Telstra formatted documents
Network Infrastructure experience is preferred
