Senior VMware and Storage Administrator

Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd level Support services for production VMware Enterprise Platforms and customer storage infrastructure
• Provide technical advice as required for the improvement of VMware Enterprise Platform configurations
• Install and configure VMware and storage technologies as required
• Act as escalation point in VMware and NetApp storage matters; Mentor and coach others in these areas
• Perform onsite maintenance and troubleshooting when required 
• Participate in resolver groups as part of the problem resolution process
• Adhere to Incident, Problem and Change Management processes as per ITIL standards and within SLA
• Provide after hours on-call escalation
• Root cause analysis to prevent issue re-occurrence
• Create and ensure technical documentation is current
• Various reporting, team and client meeting responsibilities and other assistance as required in the provision of customer support excellence
