What will you do?
You shall be contributing significantly across managed services and projects across multiple clients and projects.
You shall be working with diverse clients from small to enterprise level across public and private sector companies thus the focus will always be to ensure exceptional customer outcomes – customer first.
You will be working across multiple technologies and clients
Must Have sound technical knowledge of Server infrastructure, Networks, Cloud environment, storage and associated infrastructures
Maintaining client’s system infrastructure and troubleshoot issues as required
Design, implement and deploy infrastructure, cloud, network, storage solutions
Strong documentation and network diagramming skill-set to capture and document requirements
Build, deploy and manage SOE technology & environment including desktop refresh & rollouts
Mentor L1 & L2 staff and work with peers to resolve complex problems
Completing training & certification as agreed
Travel to client sites for implementation, troubleshooting
Strong Technical Skills across:
You need to technically very strong as you shall be the final escalation point / technical gurus in the organisation.
Server infrastructure including:
Virtualisation experience with both VMware and HyperV with Windows server ’08 – ‘16
Linux server exposure (preferred - knowledge)
Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Exchange & Office365, server monitoring & patching
Server level and final point of escalation across technologies
Cloud:
Azure, AWS cloud environments
Citrix
Design, Migration, deploy & troubleshooting
Networking Troubleshooting:
IP Troubleshooting, Subnetting, VPN tunnelling, Routing & Switching, Core understanding of routing, Connectivity issues, Firewall related issues, bridging port access
Storage & Back up:
Design, Deploy, Schedule, and troubleshoot storage & backups strategies
Required Experience, Qualifications & Other requirements
Several years experience as final escalation point or working in senior role
Previous Managed Services Experience
Experience across technologies
Tertiary qualifications in an IT or related discipline
Technical certifications – MCSE, MCSA (Window Server 2008 or 2012), MCSA (Office 365), CCNA, VCP
Full driver licence
Full rights to work in Australia
