The purpose of the Infrastructure Solution Architect role is to provide technical architecture support to assist in the delivery of project artefacts to support the project delivery framework, ensuring the IT solutions are designed and implemented according to the business and technical requirements and aligned to the Stakeholder needs and Project's strategic objectives.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Background in operating & supporting large‐scale mission‐critical server, storage and network environments.

Healthcare / Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences sector experience –preferred
Industry related qualification ‐Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent ‐ITIL v3 ‐TOGAF 9 ‐ Additional industry Certifications.
Requirements:
Creating strategies, target state architectures and standards for infrastructure, preferably having experience in Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences sector
Scoping, designing and costing infrastructure solutions for business cases
Creating high level infrastructure designs for COTS, bespoke and green‐fields enterprise systems Creating high level plans and designs for new initiatives, technology uplifts and platform migrations
Providing architectural and design leadership during project delivery
Experience with conducting Cost/Benefit Analysis for technical solutions
Participate in project business and technical requirements specification gathering exercises including functional and non‐functional
Experienced in working under regulatory frameworks and GxP standards
Experience in designing infrastructure solutions for regulated applications
Deep understanding of networking and segmentation principles
Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring
Design for High Availability and Fault Tolerance
Understand Identity and access management principles
Hyper‐Converged Infrastructure
Software Defined Data Center
Open Networking
Infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.
WinTel Infrastructure Stack

Provide conceptual architecture to be used in guiding solution design
Provide bill of materials requirements for projects that meet IT standards and policies
Verifies implementation details as part of ‘as built’ documentation to guide production readiness, production operation and disaster recovery
