About The role:

To assist in the delivery and implementation of a range of Cloud, Infrastructure, network and security projects.

A hands-on role focusing on consulting, pre-sales and the delivery of projects in line with client strategies and technology roadmaps. You will be required to work across multiple client sites and varied technologies.

Consult shall be the Pre-Sales Consultant and Cloud Architect accountable for putting solutions and implementing/overseeing post-delivery phase. The role is 50/50 split of Project implementation vs. Pre-Sales and R&D work and may transform to 100% consulting pre-sales role in future.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Hands on implementation experience of cloud projects (Predominately MS Azure and the suite of O365 services)
  • Email migrations, SharePoint online, OneDrive, Teams, Dynamics 365
  • Implement and manage storage, deploy and manage virtual machines (VMs), configure and manage virtual networks, and manage identities.
  • Secure identities, evaluate and perform server migration to Azure, implement and manage application services, and implement advanced virtual networking.

• Tenancy creation, management of MS Azure & AWS subscriptions and resources, and proposal pricing
• Experience with cloud backup services, disaster recovery options and Veeam
• Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop & MS InTune (MDM)
• Experience implementing Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) & Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Experience Requirements:

• Ability to provide Pre-Sales support and Consulting – Client facing
• Proven delivery of high quality Project Proposals, AsBuilts and Handover documentation   
• 50/50 split of Project implementation vs. Pre-Sales and R&D work
• Experience working with vendor portals & ability to translate service/licensing pricing for new opportunities
• Experience working for MSP and can hit the ground running fairly quickly, understand the local market and can operate at the pace of an MSP
• Project Management skills/experience shall be looked upon favorably
• Hyperconvergence (Nutanix or HPE SimpliVity) and/or AWS experience shall also be looked upon favourably

•  (Preferred) Familiarity with Cyber Security products around Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Web Application Scanning & Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Education Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification and Industry certification– IT, Engineering Degree
• Other certification: ITIL or Agile Certification, CCNP,  CCIE, MCSE, VCP (preferred)
• Holds current MS Azure base certification - Administrator Associate (desirable)
